Songbirds Wall Hanging Quilt

$98.00
Sold Out
Inspired by my happiness in watching birds in my own backyard, this quilted wall hanging, "Songbirds," measures approximately 24.5 inches square. Featuring 12 different North American songbirds, you're sure to see ones that you know and love. This quilt has a hanging sleeve on the back so it's ready for displaying. Use between a 0.25 - 1 inch diameter rod. It's not a heavy wall hanging so a smaller diameter rod is perfect.

I like to use double batting on my quilts so that you can see more definition. This doesn't always translate into photographs all that well though. Each bird does puff out a bit due to the quilting and makes the quilt visually interesting.

With red and yellow around the edges, this quilt stands out against a plain wall. Hang it next to the window where you do your own birdwatching. Gift it to a friend who is a bird enthusiast. This quilt will be at home in just about any room of the house.

Some of these birds are common in my area and I can name them, some not so much. I see goldfinches, cardinals, blue jays, black capped chickadees, robins, eastern bluebirds, cedar waxwings and more. It's like looking through a window into a backyard full of the most beautiful birds.
